About the Wisconsin Lutheran College Concert Band

Concert Band is an ensemble that performs the finest of the wind band literature and presents concerts on the campus and tours regionally and nationally. Membership in this organization is through a seating audition. The band meets three days a week while exploring a wide variety of band compositions and arrangements. Through our concerts and performance tours, we seek to serve as ambassadors for our Savior and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Gifts made to the band's general tour fund, however, are considered charitable for tax purposes. You can help the Wisconsin Lutheran College Concert Band!

The Wisconsin Lutheran College Concert Band is going international! In May, approximately 40 student musicians will travel to Ontario, Canada as well as Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio for their Spring Concert Tour. Band members will have the wonderful privilege of sharing God’s gift of music with congregations and schools while growing in their Christian faith as they travel together. The band will also enjoy host family hospitality, group activities, and a unique opportunity to visit America’s neighbor to the north.

The student participation fee for this tour is $145. Band members are responsible for meeting this financial obligation through personal and family contributions, as well as through personal fundraising. Would you consider helping the students of the band with a gift to help reduce their financial burden? By keeping costs manageable for tour participants, students can remain focused on rehearsing and coursework, career preparation, and on spiritual and individual growth – not on keeping up with tour payments.
