With positive spirits, we are excited to announce that the 2020-2021 Wisconsin Lutheran College Women’s Volleyball team is BACK! We want to update you on how we are training and getting better as a team on and off the court this fall in preparation for the spring. There is a lot of talent on the team of our roster of 20; four seniors, five juniors, five sophomores, and six freshmen. We are eager to show you as we had multiple All-Conference honors and only lost one senior from last season. During the month of September we were in our “low contact” phase where we did skill work in pods and physically distanced in our masks. As October continues, we will be in our “high contact” phase where we are able to do 6 v 6 drills and work on our fast tempo offense in our matching Warriors Volleyball masks. Along with this phase, we are doing Green & White scrimmages every Friday!
We are grateful for God’s blessings as he continues to allow us to gather on campus for classes and training. Our theme for the season is Positively Pressing On: Unite, Adapt, and Excel. While we are constantly adapting to the changes, we would appreciate your support this fall - even if, and especially when, we cannot raise funds for the team through ticket and concessions sales. All of your gifts will help provide our student-athletes a one-of-a-kind experience as we ...
- chase a NACC Tournament championship and compete for a NCAA bid,
- travel (in coming seasons),
- fuel our bodies with healthy pregame meals, and
- purchase equipment and gear that will help elevate our team training.
To make sure you are prepared for our next match, every donation of $30+ will receive a WLC 2020 Volleyball T-shirt!
While we haven’t been able to celebrate our alumni and families like we normally do, we want to thank you for all for your support for the program. Your impact is everlasting and we hope to continue competing for you. We hope to see you soon. GO, WARRIORS!
