2018 Wisconsin Lutheran Choir Tour

The Wisconsin Lutheran Choir season includes home performances in WLC’s Schwan Concert Hall, as well as music for worship in Wisconsin Lutheran College’s chapel services and for local Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod congregations. An exciting addition to our lineup this year is a Reformation 500 hymn festival to celebrate Martin Luther's legacy as a poet and composer. We joined with the Lutheran Chorale of Milwaukee and the Seminary Chorus from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to perform Luther's most beloved hymns. Over 160 voices proclaiming God's grace gave just a little glimpse of what it will be like to sing in the heavenly choir! Another highlight of the choir's season--as always--is our annual concert tour.

In March of 2018, we'll return to Florida to use our voices to share God's love with congregations in the Sunshine State. Our itinerary will take us to The Villages, Fort Myers, Palm Coast, and Jacksonville. We'll also have opportunities to enjoy fellowship and mutual encouragement with congregations along our tour route. Our tours always offer a balance of artistically satisfying performances, host family hospitality, group activities, and free time. It's the best way to spend spring break, and the 2018 is sure to create memories for a lifetime!

The student participation fee for our performance tour is $250. Choir members are working hard to make the tour possible through their individual and family contributions, as well as through group and personal fundraising. Would you consider helping our students reach their financial goals and experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Simply click on the link "Donate to Choir" and you will make an impact today. A gift of any amount will directly reduce each student’s participation fee.

Your gift not only impacts choir members of today, but will impact the work of the Wisconsin Lutheran Choir for years to come by helping us to maintain our touring tradition. We are grateful to the Lord for all of His blessings, and we count you among them.
